Step 1. Audio in.
I have a little (read, bad) usb pc mic, connected to my PowerBook.
Step 2. Audio capture
I used AudioHijack Pro to capture a 64kbit mp3 file to my computers HD.
Step 3. (without a studio) Audio conversion and Cleanup and reconversion.
The captured audio was noisy, so I used quicktime Pro to convert the mp3 file to an AIF file. I then cleaned the Audio with SoundSoap1 (2 is now available). I then reconverted the AIF file back to an mp3 file with QuicktimePro. (All of step 3 could be avoided with a good mic/studio)
Step 4. (2 item posting.)
(Item A, Sound File)
I created a podcast folder in my Radio Gems Folder. ...
"/Applications/RadioWWPP/www/gems/Podcasts"
I dropped the mp3 in that folder and Radio upstreamed the file, where I copied the URL from the events log.
(Item B, New Posting)
I then created a new post for the weblog in Radio.
When you create a new post in Radio, there is a field for enclosures.
I inserted the url for the mp3 file in the enclosure field, and wrote the posting.
Step 5.
I pushed the post/publish button in Radio.
As an extra step, I also created a new category for podcasts in my radio weblog, but that is unnecessary to actually post. Although it is much nicer because people can then just subscribe to the podcast feed.
