Building Bridges is not easy- it takes hard work, maintaining an open heart, collaborative language, mutual agreements, and passion. Passion to stay true to our commitment to make a difference when the road is not easy and long. This bridge is possible but it will take every individuals commitment to make it possible moment by moment. It will be able to span all barriers and become the pathway to our future.
It is hard to believe that almost 2 months have passed as a Process Facilitator for the Pursuing Perfection Project in Whatcom County. I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with wonderful, competent people giving their all to improve the lives of patients in our community. They wear different faces, speak different languages, have unique practice styles, and familiar names. For some their home maybe North Cascade Cardiology, SeaMar Community Health Clinic , Family Health Associates, Ferndale Family Medical Center or Center For Senior Health. The mission is the same - to improve the quality of life for our mutual patients.We have abundant talent in our medical community and need only to pool these resources to enable us to share that wealth for the benefit of everyone.
I am excited and hopeful about the relationships that are being built , within individual clinics and teams . Whatcom County has begun the challenging work of building such a bridge!
